FAQ
Common questions.
Is this QR code free for commercial use?
Yes. The QR codes generated by this tool are free to use commercially, including on printed counter cards, menus, receipts, packaging, posters, and digital business cards. There is no watermark, no logo, and no expiry.
What's the difference between PNG and SVG?
PNG is a raster image at the resolution you export — fine for most print and screen use. SVG is vector — it scales to any size without losing crispness, which is what you want if you'll be embedding the QR in an InDesign / Figma / Canva file at multiple sizes.
What is error-correction level?
It's how much of the QR can be obscured (a logo on top, dirt, scratches, partial shadow) before the code stops scanning. Higher correction = more redundancy = larger code. M (15%) is fine for most use cases. Use H (30%) only if you'll cover part of the code with a logo.
Why does my QR look pixelated?
Increase the print-size slider for a higher-resolution PNG export, or download the SVG version. SVG renders crisply at any size since it's a vector.
Do you store the URLs people enter?
No. The QR is generated entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a PublishMyReviews server. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool will keep working.
