Honest comparison

PublishMyReviews vs Birdeye.

Birdeye is a Palo Alto-based platform — All-in-one customer experience platform for multi-location US businesses — reviews, surveys, listings, ticketing, messaging, and competitive insights.

Last verified against Birdeye's public materials on 2026-05-30.

PublishMyReviews is best for

  • Indian local businesses (1–5 locations) where INR pricing and Razorpay billing matter — Birdeye is USD-only and quote-based.
  • Salons, spas, dental clinics, gyms, and cafes that need a QR-card-on-the-counter flow rather than a multi-channel CX dashboard.
  • Businesses that want approved testimonials as Instagram-ready posts and WhatsApp-ready stories — Birdeye doesn't ship social-publishing as a primary surface.
  • Owners who want strict review-policy compliance (no review gating, customer-initiated Google handoff) baked in by default.

Birdeye is best for

  • Multi-location US businesses (50+ locations) where listings management at scale matters more than per-location consent UX.
  • Enterprise teams that need a single CX platform for reviews, NPS, listings, ticketing, and messaging combined.
  • Companies whose dominant review channel is Yelp / Facebook / industry-specific review sites in addition to Google.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is PublishMyReviews a Birdeye alternative?

It depends on what you're trying to do. For Indian local businesses with 1–5 locations that primarily care about Google reviews and turning approved testimonials into Instagram posts and WhatsApp-ready stories, PublishMyReviews is a more direct fit and significantly cheaper. For multi-location US enterprises that need listings management, NPS, and 200+ review-source aggregation in one platform, Birdeye is the more complete enterprise product.

How does pricing compare?

PublishMyReviews has public INR pricing starting at ₹999/month (Starter) with a free 14-day trial and no credit card required. Birdeye uses quote-based pricing in USD with annual contracts; third-party sources put Birdeye's per-location-per-month cost in the high-three-digit USD range, but you'd need to talk to their sales team for an exact figure. The honest one-line: PublishMyReviews is order-of-magnitude cheaper for the Indian SMB segment Birdeye doesn't focus on.

Can I migrate from Birdeye to PublishMyReviews?

Yes for the QR review collection + social publishing workflow. PublishMyReviews doesn't replace Birdeye's listings management or NPS surveys — those are separate products in Birdeye's stack that we don't currently ship. If you only used Birdeye for review collection and reputation, the switch is straightforward. We'll help with onboarding during the demo.

Why doesn't PublishMyReviews aggregate Yelp / Facebook / 200 sources?

We don't, in V1. The Indian local business segment we serve gets the overwhelming majority of public reviews on Google. Building a 200-source aggregation surface would slow us down on the workflows that matter (counter QR → consent → Google handoff → approved testimonial → Instagram + WhatsApp). If multi-source aggregation is critical for you, Birdeye is the better choice.
